Dance With The Clouds:
A celebration of skies and light inspired by the landscapes and big skies around my home. The world can be full of troubles and stress, so I take refuge in the boundless skies. For me the sky symbolises space, freedom, and hope. The skies around me are ever-changing, full of energy, movement and light. I am fascinated by and delight in the transient moments of beauty that unfold in the skies around me every day. These paintings aim to capture those feelings of joy, freedom and connection to nature’s life force.
Free Flow:
These are colourful skyscapes, painted expressively in thick oils using bold, flowing brush marks. My aim was with this series was to to celebrate the incredible flow of energy through the landscape, and to capture this by paintings freely and intuitively. I also scaled up for this collection to include some large paintings (up to 150cm x 120cm).
Oil On Paper Paintings
These collections offer an opportunity to buy an expressive, original oil painting at a more affordable price. These works are spontaneous, intuitive pieces that I enjoy creating when I am not working on larger paintings. Sometimes I create these pieces when I am exploring colour palettes and ideas - sometimes when I am just playing and having fun. The thick oil paints sit beautifully on the top quality Arches paper, keeping the rich colours and textures that you would expect when working on canvas or board. These pieces come professionally mounted and wrapped in a warm white mount, unframed - ready for you to put into the frame of your choice. Prices include free shipping anywhere in the world. The larger pieces measure approximately 32cm x 34cm (including mount) - mini oil on paper pieces measure approximately 21cm x 21cm (including mount).
